In short: you own what you stream and write; we relay it where you tell us to. Creem handles payments as our merchant of record and Mux relays your video. Follow each platform's rules. You can cancel anytime and keep paid features until the period ends.

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Beamcast, including the website, the dashboard and the streaming relay (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use Beamcast on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.

What the Service does

Beamcast provides:

  • Multistreaming. You send one live stream to Beamcast, from a Zoom meeting or webinar or from streaming software, and we relay it to the destinations (“channels”) you switch on, such as YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Twitch, Kick, TikTok LIVE, Instagram or a custom server. Video is relayed by our infrastructure partner Mux. For Instagram, and for TikTok if you choose it, we also make a tall (9:16) version of your video on our own servers.
  • Live comments and viewers. While you are live, we show comments and viewer counts from the platforms that make them available, together with chat from your Beamcast watch page. You can reply on your watch page, and with the optional Live Helper or Cloud Helper, on other platforms as yourself.
  • Messages and post comments (optional). If you turn this on and connect social accounts, you can read direct messages and post comments in one place and, on paid plans, reply. Account connections and message access are provided through our partner Zernio.
  • Live Helper and Cloud Helper (optional). The Live Helper is a browser extension, and the Cloud Helper is a browser we run for you. Both read the comments on your own live pages while you are signed in, send them to Beamcast, and type in the replies you write. The Cloud Helper keeps your sign-in for those sites in a separate browser profile for your account, which you can remove at any time.

Each destination and social platform is operated by a third party under its own terms. Their features, limits, availability and approval rules are outside our control, and a platform may change or withdraw access at any time.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and tell us at support@beamcast.stream if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, including streams relayed and replies sent from it.

Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address current, because we use it for account and billing notices.

Your content and connected platforms

You keep all rights to the video, audio, messages and other content you send through the Service. You give us a limited licence to receive, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you: for example, to relay your stream to the channels you switched on and to deliver the replies you write.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you stream, and for following the terms and community rules of every destination and social platform you use with Beamcast, including when you use the Live Helper or Cloud Helper with your accounts. Platforms may limit features or accounts under their own rules, and Beamcast cannot reverse their decisions. When you connect a social account, you authorise us, through Zernio, to read the messages and comments the platform makes available and to send the replies you ask us to send.

When you connect Zoom, Google (YouTube), Twitch, Facebook or Kick, you authorise us to use that account as described in the Privacy Policy: for example, to create live broadcasts or live videos, read stream keys, and set and start the live stream of the Zoom meeting you pick. When you stream a Zoom meeting or webinar, you are responsible for telling the people in it and for any consent the law or your organisation requires.

Beamcast uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube to Beamcast, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • stream or send content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you are not licensed to rebroadcast;
  • send spam, bulk unsolicited messages or automated replies that break a platform's rules;
  • harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
  • interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or get around plan limits;
  • resell or provide the Service to others as your own without our written agreement.

The full rules are in our Acceptable use policy. We may remove content, stop a stream or suspend an account that breaks them, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Beamcast offers a Free plan and paid subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. Each plan has limits on simultaneous channels, monthly streaming hours and connected social accounts, as shown on the pricing page.

Creem is our merchant of record. Paid subscriptions are sold and billed by Creem, which processes your payment, issues invoices and collects any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST. Creem's own terms apply to the purchase itself. Prices are listed in US dollars; taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard. After cancelling, your paid features stay available until the end of the period you have paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded for partial periods. Charges made in error or after you cancelled are refunded: see Refunds & cancellation, or contact support@beamcast.stream.

We may change prices or plan limits. Price changes for an existing subscription take effect at your next renewal, and we will email you at least 30 days before they do.

Stream keys and security

Stream keys you save for your channels, and the tokens of the platforms you connect, are encrypted at rest; keys are only shown masked in the dashboard. You are responsible for the keys themselves: if you believe a destination key has leaked, reset it on that platform and update the channel in Beamcast. You can reset your Beamcast ingest key from the dashboard at any time.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Streams and inbox features depend on Mux, Zernio and the destination platforms, and an outage at any of them can affect the Service. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a core paid feature, we will tell you in advance.

Ending your use

You can stop using Beamcast at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@beamcast.stream. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk. When an account closes we delete or anonymise its data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, Beamcast is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, audience or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where we are registered, except where the consumer law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
